If you haven't got GPS set up yet, all you do is switch location on in the phone settings > services. Google maps should work right out of the box once you install it. Also WiFi can be a little picky, I have the fios actiontec router which has trouble with some devices using wpa2 but when I hook up a linksys access point, it works fine.

OK - so here's where I ended up. I've decided to stick with the Omnia. I've flashed a dozen different rom's over the past week and have settled on the stock 6.1 ROM with the new Verizon update. I just can't get into Titanium - I find it difficult to use. And the RAM issue - well I don't see it as a RAM issue. I've got 8gb storage on board and an 8gb card plugged in. The cooked 6.5 roms saved what - 50mb?
Haven't tried the gps or wifi yet - that's next.
