My HTC did this as well, I never found a solution for it...

Some notifications cause the left soft-key to "flicker" - with new SMS messages, it will change to Notification, with the odd quick flicker to "Calendar", which isn't too bad... but some events (such as voicemails) will cause it to only show very brief flash of Notification, not enough to actually tap. Is there some way to get this thing to change and STAY CHANGED until it's acknowledged??
