Has anybody managed to get footprints working on the vogue?

if i install footprints on somebody's ROM it doesn't work, doesn't start but if i cook it into a ROM, it works, the problem is that the ROM that i am cooking is far from finished so i just wanted to use the footprints app on the rom i have installed right now.

GPS is working with Tom Tom 7 Installed, Does anybody have a working cab for Footprints?
