I first start ics, choose Bluetooth PAN, choose DATA as network connection and hit connect. It turns on the bluetooth and makes the phone visible and then I set up a new bt device in my mac. A option that appears is "use device as a network port". After words I can connect by turning on bluetooth and asking the mac to connect to network. It is fast.

I havent tried a rom that it didnt work in...
