Remotely Control Windows Mobile?

I frequently use SOTI Pocket Controller Pro to use my PC's keyboard & mouse to control my Touch Pro when connected either via USB or Bluetooth.

I was wondering, is there a way to remotely control a Windows Mobile phone via the cellular/data network?

I know if I connect my phone to my WiFi network I can use Pocket Controller to control it, but I'm wondering if the same could be done via the service providers network, i.e Sprint?

I tried using the IP address of the phone (discovered by going to www.whatsmyip.org) and entering that into Pocket Controller instead of a local 192 address but it doesn't work.

Thoughts?
