Make sure your Incoming mail server is "pop.gmail.com:995"
user name is "recent:username@gmail.com" (mine was't "recent")
Outgoing server is smtp.gmail.com:587 (my port was 465)
also make sure to check require SSL for incoming and outgoing email.
That seemed to resolve the problem.
