Not sure where to even get UC or to get started, which is why I went with Sashimi. I caught a post over here by Bengalih and headed over to his forum.

His videos on configuration and use are VERY nice and SUPER helpful. I would say start to finish...it took me 10 minutes to have all my customizations and stuff setup.

While I can see the benefit of UC and it running right after a flash, I like to make sure my phone is working as what it's supposed to be...a phone...prior to spending anytime installing applications.

With Sashimi, after a flash and a quick data/phone verification...I am like 2 clicks from installing all my apps and restoring my contacts!
