Do you go to the corporate service and repair centers? I replaced my mogul 3 times and my TP once and all but one time they just took the phone, said they'd look at it and eventually replaced or ordered a new phone without asking for payment. The one time they did say that it would could 50$ I pointed out that I had TEP at which point the tech went back again and told me that he had already placed an order for a new phone and that I wouldn't have to worry about payment.
I almost always go to the major Sprint stores as I find they offer the least hassle.
