Re: (Possibly) Working aGPS Solution! (Take Two)

Well, I've tried pretty much every suggestion short of flashing a new ROM (mine's a Telus phone, so I don't even know if there's one available), and still get piss-poor GPS performance. It works outside or through thin walls, and I get five satellites at best... mostly it wanders between two and three, even outside. With my HTC Titan, I could get 6-7 satellites within seconds just sitting here at my desk, so suffice to say, I'm not terribly impressed with this.

One thing that always helped with my HTC was using QuickGPS, but that won't even run on the Omnia (gives me a "may not be signed with a valid certificate" or some such... same problem I had with it on my HTC before I got the latest dcd ROM). I've tried removing and reinstalling several times, including the "patched" version.

Anyone have any other ideas? Some way to get QuickGPS running? I've even downloaded and dropped in a packedEphemeris.ee file without much help.
