Just a note for everyone... I can't get any signal locks when I specify COM8 and any speed in Gmaps. However, when I let windows manage it, I get locks between 5seconds and 2 minutes. Just never have with the com port specified.
Oddly enough, I had the same problem with my 6800. intermediate driver always worked.
I'm in St. Louis if it matters.
