A friend had issues with a CricKet Samsung - don't remember which model (dumbphone). The water damage sticker looked just like mine - a few rows of little reddish Xs. Looked
just like my sticker on my battery. The CricKet rep said it was water damaged and wanted 80 bucks to exchange it via insurance. I told her it wasn't damaged but she didn't press it and gave'em the money.
I did talk her into dropping the insurance. They really saw her coming.
A dumbphone no less.
