Yeah I would think it would prompt you about a trial service, but it's worth a shot! Besides google maps and msn live or whatever it is (which i really enjoy for gps reasons) I think Sprint GPS really does the most and is most effective. The audio turn by turn directions are great, automatic traffic checks and alerts, recalculates without any problems, and does all the points of interest and stuff.
Just make sure you aren't paying for it though! I am have what i think is a cheap plan that includes the sprint navi, and i think it's worth it. i can admit i get lost a lot
