Re: what will i miss on iPhone

Does the iphone allow editing of excel docs yet? I know it didn't at one point although I'm guessing if that hasn't been rectified I'm sure it probably will be.

Yes $600... the base phone plan on sprint is $30, unlimited data is $15, my bill is $45/mo (plus I also get a 16% discount thru work that takes care of taxes an fees... so my bill really is $45/mo). The cheapest plan I could get with the iphone was $70. Difference is $25/mo times 24 months is $600.

It amazes me that people only look at the monthly cost of these plans. The devices are dirt cheap compared to what you pay in monthly costs.

Garmin XT is turn-by-turn navigation (like igo, tomtom, etc.). I hear tom-tom is going to be coming to the iphone.

While I'm running Garmin I can swap over to the music player, switch songs and go back to the garmin app and it will have retains my route... the iphone supports this or does it close the active app if I want to switch music? I've played with a buddies ipod touch but haven't used an iphone extensively.

I take it the tethering is thru hacks? Does it allow you to share the cellular data connection over wifi the way WMWifiRouter does?
