I did look into my info, if you check the link I provided it specifically stated that it was for Sprint. So question is do we believe CNET or do we believe Gizmodo? I guess we will both have to wait a little longer to find out.
From another perspective though it is pretty obvious that HTC is going after the iphone in terms of design and the iPhone has Wi-Fi, the GSM version of the touch has Wi-Fi so if this is meant to compete with the iPhone at least on some level why would it not have Wi-Fi, and why would Sprint skimp/ or create extra work to disable/ not have Wi-Fi on their version. Especially since the GSM model does have it. That would seem like brand suicide for Sprint. Also I don't think that Sprint has had a Pocket PC without Wi-Fi since the 6600...why revert now?
