i got a refurb mogul through asurion and the voice command button never worked. i didnt care too much about it because i dont use that button anyways. as time went by, my power button stopped working. i have dropped it maybe twice overall and the marks on the phone is not bad but power button worked even after dropped. just lately it stopped work so i have to keep pushing microsd card to wake up phone. its just a hassle. some of my buttons on the keyboard is hard to press to get the letters to work and some light spots on the screen.

i brought it into the sprint store, the lady took it apart and said the buttons (VC and power) is off. she just automatically assumed that i dropped it and told me that it'll cost $100 to replace and i am eligible via insurance. im sure she had probably input that into the system.

but how do i explain to another sprint store repair center that it wasnt my fault? and if i do the self service replacement, would i be granted a free replacement? ok the buttons dont work but i can deal with that, but the keyboard is annoying as hell when i have to retype some words if i dont press hard enough. i do not want to pay $100 for another mogul.

i dont know if i can stand using this phone for 30 days. right now i have treo pro activated.
