If thats the case, then your thumb is too big in relation to the device's screen size. I say, use your stylus, get a TP2 or drop touch screen phones altogether and get one with fat-thumb friendly buttons. Most of us are adults here, and we seem to manage.

By his not including them, he DID give you the choice to install and uninstall whatever 3rd party apps youd like. The ones you listed above are considered essentials by many experienced WM users. Not to mention it was requested repeatedly and is commonly used by a majority of Mike's followers. This is the beauty of custom ROMs. Find one that will suit your needs best.

You have several options: move the camera link to the top of the Start menu, change softkeys on home screen, map hardware buttons...etc. Welcome to the world of windows mobile.
