You are correct! I have 6.5 21501 on my 6700 and you can't put too much in the build because of the size of the main programs.
I guess it is the price of having new software on an old phone. Mine works perfectly and it is like getting a new phone for free!
Yes, I use cabs to install the other programs I want.
