Blue Teeeth problems!
I've been having the same KIND of problem with my BT set-up. I am not using a BT headset but rather a BT hands-free car mount (COMFORT BT Universal Car Mount V20) that SHOULD (and usually does) connect via BT to a hands-free mike and speaker ...works great and you don't have to wear a headset....
Anyway, my xv6700 connects (via BT) about 60% of the time when I start my car. When it fails, I simply turn OFF the BT on the 6700 and then turn it back ON and "presto"! The biggest problem I've been having is that the BT DISCONNECTS after a while (for no apparent reason). Most of my driving is a little over 1/2 hour in nature and most of the time it has disconnected by trip-end. I know it's not because of reception range since the 6700 is IN the cradle (as close as you can get to the BT). I never had this problem with WM5.
....BUT, I am finding that the MS Voice Command works 95% better (with WM6) in recognizing commands, especially on the VC contact verification sequence. With WM5 I had to ALWAYS repeat "YES" (or NO) several times when Voice Command was trying to verify my command ....to the point of turning blue and getting VERY "POed". ...a real sight to see for the outside world looking in at me! Thank you VerizonGuy and Helmi for getting my blood pressure under control!!!
BTW, I sync through my exchange server wirelessly and live my life on PI ...2,100 contacts with LOTS of details and very thick on appointment usage.
Any suggestions? Questions?
