Re: Speech to text software?

so here's my little review of vlingo on my Pro

i really wanted voice to txt so i can send texts easily. vlingo definitely lets you speak texts but it is through there own interface. so that means it doesn't integrate with windows threaded sms. also it is taking long time for people to receive my text sent through vlingo. now email works really good. i only have one email address (gmail) and it works real good going through that. i don't use exchange or push mail so i can't comment on that. also vlingo cant send an email to more then one person at once. vlingo can open up some apps but not all. pretty much the ones that came with the phone, like the camera and the calendar.

i really can translate my voice to text very well, with very few mistakes. and the more i use it the better it should get. you cant use it to dictate in other application, say word and there's no copy and paste so you cant move the words you just said to where you really want them to be. i'm hoping that in the future this will change. over all vlingo is a great step forward and something that was a long time coming for window mobile.
