i dont think so... metros not a roaming company... your bound simply to your "x" amount of miles radius... once a metro phone goes out of range, their done... they become an answering machine and thats about it... carriers have contracts with each other so that ones subscriber can use another to complete calls, txt.. thats why carriers dont want roaming, its expensive.. most carriers if you use more than like 800 minutes or so of roaming minutes, you might just get the thank you, weve had enough of service, your cancelled goodbye notice...

metro probably doesnt buy into contracts... part of why they can keep the rates so low.. they dont piggyback lke everyone else, atleast roaming wise...
