Re: Will Windows Mobile Be There In The Future?

Well like I said, I'm not going to argue anymore cause I really am fighting a lost cause, but 1 last statement...

If, IF...WM 7 does blow away everyone like "some" people are saying then WM might have a chance, but from the way it's looking and the support it is gaining Android and the iPhone are very quickly becoming the power houses...

Like I said I hate iPhone because it's too simple....but Android however, it is even more flexible, developable, customizable, fun, quick, stable then WM will ever be already

Since Android is Open Source, anyone can work on it and make it perfect, while WinCE makes it nearly impossible to develop...

For example, my phone the HTC Touch...We are on the brink of having OpenGL, Android has already gotten OpenGL so that's how we knew WinCE could do it as well....but with all the locks and closed source for the WM, it makes developing a whole lot harder, so instead no OpenGL for us, but Android can run at 150 fps on my phone....

Seems like it's a no brainer? No not really, Android still lacks with the support but it is slowly building it's community and soon I think it will take over and WM will fail (HTC is already looking to bring more and more Android devices to its company) It just introduced it's 3rd Android phone and soon Dell, Garmin, LG, and even Samsung are marketing their own Android phone as well...

So again we will have to wait and see, because right now there is nothing and I mean nothing you can go on to tell me that WM7 will be good or even average because there is nothing but rumors and projections on what it will be like
