For those of you on Vista... you need legacy XP drivers to get MTTY or titan_exitbl to connect. I have attached these to this post. You will need to use the "Have Disk" method to install this driver in place of the stock Vista mobile device sync one. If you do it correctly, the driver date will be 10/06/2004.
