Perhaps someone should put this in bold at the beginning of the thread:
As of now try to get your ESN added to the DMD FIRST. It will save you a lot of trouble if you can't do it.
sitnstand, look a page or 2 back for a number and extension someone posted of a tech who could add devices to the DMD. Perhaps you will have more luck going that route.
