Start Menu: 6.5 = worse
I agree with you, the start menu is much, much different than what my usage patterns expect. Even where I have stuck with a 6.5 ROM for a period of time, the transition was too difficult for me ... it had a negative impact on my ability to use my device.

Speed and Responsiveness: 6.5 = worse
In every case, every task that I tried to complete with a 6.5 ROM seemed to be slower than completing that same task with my 6.1 ROM.

Battery Life: 6.5 = worse
This really surprised me, because the general concensus that I read seemed to indicate that I should expect much better battery life in 6.5 and I did not experience increased battery life.

Usability: 6.5 = worse
Admittedly, I am a 80% stylus user ... the new finger scrolling features in 6.5 actually have a negative impact on my ability to use a stylus in the way that I have in the past.

Fit and Finish: 6.5 = worse
More than any other area this is probably incredibly subjective ... but I find the user interface elements; the rounded edges, the today screen, to be a work in progress, less professional (if you will). The crispness is gone. Like going from XP with themes turned off, to Vista on first boot.

6.5 was also not as stable for me.

Try the new 23001 build:

battery life is longer for me than on 6.1

there are so many themes that look so amazing. on TF3D you are so limited to just channing BGs and buttom icons, etc. But with Bliss, Wm7, Canalog clock...

If you know how to customize it, it can be much more user friendly, much more finger friendly (i know you use stylus but i never do), and everything runs really fast. Rhodium also runs very fast so if you want to switch to manilla its basically like having 6.1

The builds are getting better and better. 23001 is pretty awesome. In a couple of weeks 6.5 is going to be even more stable, and I am getting better and better batter life with every build.
