Im not sure about the differences in all this but im on alltel and I use this cab made by tsowen and it adds in the revA icon to any custom taskbar, other wise I usually get a ugly grey shaded looking E icon.
Sprint users might try this out and see what it does, if it dont work its completly uninstallable.
Ill also include a screenshot of what it looks like.
