Exchange is MORE than email, LESS than PC. It syncs calendar, contacts, tasks, notes, and mail. Nothing more. On your PC you can sync 3rd party software, media, etc etc. But once you setup an exchange your PC will disable syncing the fields that you sync with the exchange server automatically, to prevent duplicates. Its really cool, and VERY efficient, you really need to try it for a day and you'll never look back
