Re: Waze: Way to Go

I had this happen with the Energy Roms on the TP. Not sure what the heck was going on, but Im reflashing with the NFS rom to see if that fixes it. It was working fine before i flashed FROM nfs TO energy.. so im wondering if its the manilla2.5 that may be getting in the way??

Re: Waze: Way to Go

New ROM did not fix the issue. I am wondering if there is something going on on the Waze side of things... wait.. wait... it may have fixed it. I currently have it sitting next to me in bed, and its holding the GPS signal, and I havent gotten the map blackout that was throwing me "off course". Er... GPS lost.. This will need a road test. I will report back tomorrow.

Re: Waze: Way to Go

Sorry for the delay. I have since tried it out several times within a Titanium based ROM. Seems to work fine now. No more dropping the map and ludicrous wait times for the recalculating.

Re: Waze: Way to Go

Neat...They list the Tilt but, also list PPC6800/Titan but, I selected it and I get a We'll notifiy you if we support your phone message.

I already have TomTom on my phone but, I think this would be kind of cool when I am out driving. Too bad I can't sign up, and I won't download a cab to install because I won't get correct points for it.

Thanks I'll have to do some testing. I don't know if I would choose waze over nrg roms.

Well I'm on stock and no more dropped gps every few seconds. so it's either custom roms in general or nrg roms in particular. at least now we know it's not waze.
