Stuck in silent mode

During the last two Blazn updates the last being 10/04 I have not been able to access any ring tones. Everytime I try to access a list the only option is silent. No I do not have the silent mode checked. Any suggestions will be helpful.

Re: Stuck in silent mode

I had the same issue on a friend's phone. Download HP's sd card format tool from here: Download HP USB Disk Storage Format Tool (free)

and do a FULL format. do NOT do quick format and then it will work. Be warned, it takes a LONG time to do it, so do it when you have time Let me know if it works for you.

Re: Stuck in silent mode

Does formating it with that program delete everything off of my SD card?

Yes. Both a quick format and full format will delete everything from the SD card. The full format actually erases every single cell of memory whereas a quick format just erases the beginning of each block so it reports as blank to the OS. Full format will give better performance and clear out random leftover bits, but it will wear out your flash card faster.

Re: Stuck in silent mode

I tried the HP tool and did a full format. I then copied back everything that was on the card before the format. Still, my only option is silent mode. Am I missing anything?

Thanks!
