I Odin'd back to the first release of Android 2.1, then installed the Update tool from Samsung website, rebooted my laptop, and then flashed! Went over without a hitch! Voice dial over bluetooth works GREAT, the ROM is really responsive! Everything seems to work perfect so far. Even typing on the hardware keyboard doesn't skip from time to time now. Now just to wait for a ROOT that works on EB13

there must be something wrong with my cable to my phone. no matter what I do, my phone won't connect and won't do anything. Keep getting the "device unknown".
I got to get a new cable I guess.

I was about to try to root..you tried the one click root? and z4root?

I've seen several people say that one click root w/cwm 2.5.5 works on eb13

I tried to use the One click root w CWM 2.5.5 and it read my phone, but gave me a lot of permission errors. I am going to make sure I have the latest version and try again. I will post what I find out.

Yes, If you want to use the update.zip, you have to be on a stock 2.1 rom for it to update.

update! I had One click root 2.4, not 2.5.5. I am trying again now!
