Anyone switch calls by accident with their cheek when talking?
This is my first Android phone and I love it so far but I keep getting an annoying issue.
Several times already I have accidentally switched to another line or hung up with my cheek. Any option to fix this? Hung up on some important phone calls today. |

Hmm. Is your phone not sensing your cheek? Usually the screen should shut off while it's against your face. I know there's an option somewhere.

The Ambient Light sensor?

It should be set by default to shut the screen off when in a call and pressed against your face (or when the light sensor is covered...)

I do not think there is a way to shut off the proximity sensor. Make a phone call and put your thumb in front of those 3 clear circles right to the left of the speakers and see if your screen shuts off.
If not then you need a new phone. |

The sensor works and turns off the screen when close to the face. However when i press it to my cheek with my shoulder, the screen lights up. Maybe cuz I am touching the screen.

or cheaper alternative would be applying a rubber-band that stretch around your head with the phone...? Go Staples... that was easy lol |
