Like Custom ROMs? Please Read and Sign this then.......
 

Just quoting what Helmi_C posted. If you like your Custom ROMs and want more, more upgrades, more development........than PLEASE sign this petition to help save XDA and all others. So that we may be able to post our Customs so that the masses can download. Thanks for the help and support!

I would love to sign it, but I think it needs to be thought out a bit more. After every sentence I am asking my self, Why? Also the "Please think rationally Microsoft!" is just not the right thing to say. It is rather insulting, ads the saying goes "don't bite the hand that feeds".

I agree with you that it needs to be thought out a bit more. We have to sound more professional and also want to make them feel that with all the ROM upgrades we do, we have not made the phone companies liable for our mistakes. I, personally understand that if I brick my phone it is my responsibility to use my insurance or replace the phone. If we make them see things like that on the petition then it should be okay. I think we shoud all give ideas on what should be on the petition and draft another one up ASAP. Not taking your idea away from you Helmi_c, just trying to add to it and make it better.

I agree, although I would take out the part of using the insurance to replace the phone. This I imagine would only tick off the insurance companies and make them less likely to cover our phones or increase premiums to insure them.

Well whatever u think guys its to late now hundreds have signed this one :D But someone could always make another.....related to just custom ROMs and not xda specfic....

Will Microsoft give credit to the list if people aren't using their real names? Also to the people that are making the dumb comments, there's a time and place for everything. The petition isn't that place!

I agree. It only undermines the credibility and aim of the petition.
