Help! How to show Opera in Task Manager?

There used to be a regedit info on here but the post either has been deleted or I just can't find it anymore. How can I have Opera show in the task manager on the Sprint Stock TP2? I literally searched all over and can't find it anymore. If someone has a cab that does the trick, thats even better so I won't have to find the info again after a hard-reset. Thanks for any help.

I did the upgrade to MightyRom's newest today and although he did a nice job on it, I actually liked the stock better, it just works smoother and everything is there like the Sprint TV. From now on, I'm just going to wait for the official upgrade, I just don't see the point in giving myself a headache for no reason. For the ones who haven't flashed cooked ROMs and are happy with their stock, I say don't bother, seriously, its just not worth the headache, the Sprint ROM is awesome as it is.

Re: Help! How to show Opera in Task Manager?

No cab, but if you use a registry editor you can do the following:

Opera in Task Manager
Code:
* Go to: HKCU\Software\HTC\TaskManager\ExclusiveList\System
* There delete Opera9.exe (now it will show in the task manager)

To close opera by pressing the X-button instead of minimizing it follow these steps
Code:
* Go to: HKCU\Software\HTC\TaskManager\TerminateProcess
* There, create a DWORD with the name Opera9.exe value "1"

Re: Help! How to show Opera in Task Manager?

Thank you, it worked. They need to put this as a sticky or included in the tweaks section, they must've deleted the old post that had it before.

If you use FdcSoft task manager, you will see Opera.exe in the Process list.

Re: Help! How to show Opera in Task Manager?

A search through the Touch Pro 2 Tweaks, Hacks, Tips & Modifications sticky would have revealed the answer too. It was noted in there a few times and then summarized...

Re: Help! How to show Opera in Task Manager?

Just wondering, is there a .cab for this? After every flash I have to look up the regedit because I can never remember it :P. A cab would be much easier. Did a search but could only find the keys.

I did that, and everytime I reboot the TP2, Opera still running under Task Manager (Quick Menu). Even if I Exit Opera manually.
