PDAJ's Clean Titan ROM

Update 7/27/09: I have been away for awhile and am now back. I will be cooking new Clean ROMs for the Apache, Titan and Vouge. Please wait a few days for those be posted up. For all of those who sent messages, I have gotten back to you. Thanks.

Here is my clean ROM for the Titan. I used build 20755, it is older, but is very snappy and stable. Thanks to the PPCKitchen team.

Apps included:
.NetCF 2.0
Solitaire and Bubblebreaker
Ms PacMan
Adobe Flash Player
AdobeReader LE
Arcsoft MMS 5
BAF GPS Toggle
Chess
ClearStorage
Cyberon Voice Commander
GB-SOFT Tweak
nue Threaded SMS
NoData
HTC Titan Camera
Office Excel
Office Powerpoint
Office Word
OneNote
PHM RegEdit
Pocket RAR
Total Commander
Windows Live Mobile

How to flash:
1. Unlock with Olipro 2.4 or NueSPL 2.47 if you haven't already.
2. Flash a GPS enabled radio, you can flash Radio 3.35 from an installer over USB. If you already have a 3.xx radio you don't need to do this.
3. Now put the phone in bootloader, Hold down Power + Camera + Stylus in the reset hole.
4. Plug the phone in to your computer via USB, don't use a cradle or hub.
5. Run the excutable in the ROM folder and follow directions.

Finally here's the links. Download the ROM for your carrier, if your carrier is not listed use any one of your choice, the customizations will not run so you don't have to worry about carrier settings being overiden.

Alltel
CricKet
Sprint
Verizon

Enjoy your new ROM!

Re: PDAJ's Clean Titan ROM

Just for clarification, I am guessing that the MMS/WAP will need registry tweeks etc to get them to work properly for Cricket? Or perchance did you cook it for working MMS/WAP already?

I have to say that I love the simplicity of this rom! This is exactly what I haave been looking for and/or hoping to build! (Cant get the .net to install properly to cook).....

Thank you very much for such a simple, effective ROM fo Cricket!

Re: PDAJ's Clean Titan ROM

@ DenverDev: I think the MMS settings for Cricket should be included. Since the carrier base is for Cricket. If not, then just tweak em as before. I am not certain because I never actually installed that ROM on my device.

@ badhalf: Thanks for the nice comment. Just had some spare time and figured I'd help some of the new users with their device...

Re: PDAJ's Clean Titan ROM

Thanks a lot for the ROM! I have been running it for the last 3 days now. I just started over with a brand-newly-refurbed device and I can't get the GPS to initiate yet. Is it a ROM limitation? Or is it just me?

Radio: 3.42.40
ROM: PDAJunkie 3.08.666.1 (thats what device info says)

I have tried enabling GPS under settings>phone>Location Settings> Location on
I have tried flashing a different radio (3.35.xx)
I have tried just waiting for a while for it to seek and find.

Anything else I should try with this ROM?

I would really like to stay with this ROM because its pretty fast and good features.

Re: PDAJ's Clean Titan ROM

Remember to read all threads on GPS before posting. It's probably because your PRI is 2.03, it needs to be at 1.35.02 Read on how to revert it.
