XP x64 htc usb modem driver

I need to ##DIAG and connect to my XP x64 computer. I have 32 bit xp drivers, and 64 bit vista drivers, neither of which work. Does anyone have the Diagnostic Interface and Usb Modem drivers compatible with XP x64? There's no fundamental difference between Vista and XP x64, I don't think, so if someone knows what I need to edit in the INF vista drivers to make my computer accept them, that's just as helpful.

Re: XP x64 htc usb modem driver

PM me as I'll probably lose this thread. I've got Vista x64 drivers. I think you can just get them with a bit of Googling though.

Re: XP x64 htc usb modem driver

I already have the vista x64 drivers, XP won't accept them. They must be the same, just something in the INF is telling XP that they are incompatible.

Re: XP x64 htc usb modem driver

I found what are most certainly xp x64 drivers, CDMA1X-2000x64.inf, but when I point the generic serials to this file, xp responds that the location does not contain drivers for the hardware, even though I know it does. Is there any way to force xp to accept drivers?

Re: XP x64 htc usb modem driver

I feel your pain as I use x64 too.

The modem drivers and the diag drivers are different.

I still have to find some x64 diag drivers, the modems drivers are for the modem function, not diagnostics.

Re: XP x64 htc usb modem driver

Yeah HTC Diagnostic Interface, and HTC USB Modem, right? The irritating thing is that I can't even get my XP to accept the driver for just the modem. I've googled EVERYTHING. x64 wmodem, x64 dmrouter, permutations using 64-bit, nothing.
