Hannip is back at it...keylight for 800w!!

Hannip over at TreoCentral has written a keylight app for the 800w, I know this is one of the 'must have' apps/tweaks for me!!! Here is the post and the app itself. One thing to note is that since the key-lights work WITH the screen brightness on the 800w everytime you alter the brightness of your screen while running keylight, you have to run keylight again to turn the keys off again!!

Thank you very much for finding it. This app was one of my favorites as well. Works great!

Re: Hannip is back at it...keylight for 800w!!

Slight bug though. Some people, including myself, are experiencing strange things when you try to turn off the phone, especially with the keylight off.

Re: Hannip is back at it...keylight for 800w!!

Sorry guys....like Crazy.eddie pointed out, there have been some complications!! If it is working, I would stick with it, but Hannip pulled the CAB from the OP to work on it some more. He is adding easier on/off capabilities, and working out some other bugs.

As I mentioned...if it is working, I would stick with it, but I will keep this thread up to date on his progress and CAB posts!!!!

Re: Hannip is back at it...keylight for 800w!!

Current KeyLight (works great) is here: Keylight (800w edition) - TreoCentral.com

A shortcut to setting up the registry entry to use the side button for Keylight can be found here: keylight's for the 800w - PPCGeeks
