"Messaging" not working - Please help

As of yesterday, the Messaging function will not come up on my phone. I cannot read email or txt messages. I have tried soft-resetting several times to no avail.
I am using the stock rom with no hacks other than Zenyee StayUnlock.
Mostly standard apps. SPB Pocket Plus, Phone Suite and Diary.
I have been using this same configuration since the first week with no problems.

Any idea of what might be wrong or how to fix without resorting to a hard-reset?

Thanks in advance,
Warren

Call Verizon up and tell them whats going on. Sounds like something might be wrong on their side.

I appreciate the suggestion, but I don't think that's it. One of my co-workers has the same phone with almost the exact same config. His is working fine.

My problem is that the messaging center itself won't even launch.

Re: "Messaging" not working - Please help

I would try uninstalling some of the software, one by one, and soft reset after each uninstall. I would start with SPB Pocket Plus. If you remove it and it resolves your issue, you should be able to reinstall it and everything will work ok.

Re: "Messaging" not working - Please help

Go to your storage card and delete the outlook inbox folders that are there. Saving attachments to storage cards sometimes corrupts those folders. Deleting them, fixes the issue.

Happened to me, and was fixed by deleting the attachements folder on my card. See this thread at xda-developers: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=354001
