Treo 700W today screen speed dial mod.
Here is a program that will add a speed dial function to the today screen. You can use a picture or text for the links to the numbers from the today screen. Very neat program, helps with one handed dialing, but the new rom has the voice dial funtion so the choose is yours.

i guess never mind cuz i have a 700wx so i have the pic dial I was just interested in the voice dial with BT which probably won't work

You will have to get a program like Memmaid or SKTools to get rid of it. Why not lock your screen before you put it in your pocket? If your device dosn't have a lock, their are plenty of 3rd party apps which can be found in the software forums.

I had done the Soft reset and it still wasn't working even though i had selected it in my today screen options and did the soft reset. for some reason it didnt start working until i installed and removed photo dialer 2
