TP2 shuts off and stays off.

Has anyone else's TP2 shut off completely on it's own? I try to turn the screen on, but it does not respond. I need to soft reset often. This happened on different roms too.

Re: TP2 shuts off and stays off.

It happened to me. It was caused by that program that lets you change the sound like on the hd2. I dont know the exact name but i know it installs to the settings>system folder. If you have anything like that uninstall it. Sorry i dont know the name of the program

Re: TP2 shuts off and stays off.

I have the same issue... It has only happened twice but I don't get it because once it was while it was charging over night. This is on Sprints stock ROM with only aesthetic cabs installed. Only other cabs would be the ssk tp2 dynamic, no push internet.... any ideas???

Re: TP2 shuts off and stays off.

I've had this happen while using the sprint radio.

Phone would sleep and wouldn't wake up.

Had to flash a different radio (2.05 USC)

Re: TP2 shuts off and stays off.

I found that this happened to me a lot when I had it underclocked too much. I use nuclockcontrol & was setting it to 81-something mhz on suspend, and when I raised it to the next highest setting, it stopped happening for the most part.

It still happens when I'm on the phone sometimes though, and I have to reset cause I cant hang up. I may try a different radio. I'm kind of hesitant to do so though cause I've read horror stories about other radios heating the phone up & killing batteries. Eeek.

I feel the same way about flashing radios. When my phone was powering off, i found it was the pagepool setting as well. Before that it was showcase.

Interesting. Did you change the pagepool & if so what did you change it to?

I changed the pagepool to 0 which is also dynamic. The OS figures out whats best for your needs and adjusts. I haven't had any random shut offs since.
