install, then softreset, click on the top bar after booting and there should now be a new link to task manager

EDIT: Woops, Problem. looks like enabling 'Com3Project' now makes the notificationmanager take up the entire taskbar. I can't click my Start Button, it brings up the notificationmanager . Oh well, it was a good idea.

CORRECT. Install this and it will be like it always was with 6.1..After install go to settings, system, task manager, click on "button" tab at the bottom. then click ok.

yeah, this is meant for new nuilds where the start menu is at the bottom. ill edit my post to reflect this info

No, it doesn't. Not for me anyway. I'm on Sprint's stock 6.5 firmware.

EDIT: OK, it's working now. It required a couple of soft resets.
