Re: Verizon Touch Pro w/ Mighty Rom - Out of Memory??
can you reduce the pagepool after flashing... as in, without hard-resetting and losing everything? I just finished customizing everything, only to run into this same problem of no memory. Stupid verizon. Phone is wicked compared to the 6800, though.

Re: Verizon Touch Pro w/ Mighty Rom - Out of Memory??
You need to run the program called oddly enough, page pool changer. As far as I know, you cannot change the PP after flashing. It has to be done before flashing.
Run the program, select RUU_signed in the mighty rom folder, lower the PP to probably 12 |

Re: Verizon Touch Pro w/ Mighty Rom - Out of Memory??
I also got upgraded from the 6800 to the 6850 and i also ran into this issue. I have noticed that the Stock Verizon ROM is actually leaking memory. Do most custom roms resolve this issue? because i would do a restart on the phone and i would go down to like 60% and then after ive been using the phone for a few days it creeps up to like 80% and then higher and higher even if i kill all active apps. Right now im at 85% even though i dont have anything open.
![]() Can anyone suggest me a ROM thats as close to stock as possible that fixes this issue? I would reallly appreciate it. ![]() ![]() |

Re: Verizon Touch Pro w/ Mighty Rom - Out of Memory??
It's not "leaking" it's just the way Windows Mobile works.
All the buffers are not pre-allocated in the OS. Only as you use various features are services started, buffers allocated, etc. Once it reaches 80-85% (for you, for me on sprint 50%) it will stabilize and grow no more. The 88MB *less* ram that the VZ version has is a fatal flaw (or would be for me, my sprint version has about 90MB free after I've loaded everything up. That would be about 2mb on your VZ unit. That's not good. )
