Re: Speech to text software?
MS Voice Command will work on the Mogul, except for the Caller ID announcement. However there is a fix that will make that work as well, which I detailed here:
http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=23042 Good luck.

Re: Speech to text software?
someone just posted something about speereo, a program that lets you do speech to text for emails. Pretty close but I wonder if it only works for emails or if it can work for texting too? I'll check it out....
edit: just realized that the program actually records your voice and sends as an email..... Theres gotta be a simple program that can do speech to text, the one that was in the samsung a-900 was pretty basic but worked pretty well. The search continues Last edited by earthdan; 04-11-2008 at 07:35 AM. |

Re: Speech to text software?
I'm with Coz on this one, I have been using Jott for a month or so, and eventhough you have to make a call to use it, the system is GREAT for those 'quickie' texts while your driving, or just sending yourself reminders. I like the fact that there is no download, those voice-type apps utilize a LOT of running memory!!!

Re: Speech to text software?
MS Voice Command will not do speech to text, only text to speech. I reallyonly posted it here because Blaqueman said he wanted to try it and didn't think it was compatible. I have never heard of a speech to text for PPC and I question how well one would work, if found, because of the vast differences between the devices.
