You can use them as alerts/alarms.. To alert you of a missed call, incoming SMS or if someone left you a voice mail.. etc.. They are just more ring-tones, that are perhaps shorter and more appropriate for alerts..

I've noticed that my touch doesn't like anything for ringtones except mp3s. I've tried to use .wavs before to no avail. I haven't done any extensive testing....i just change them to mp3s and have no problems.

Re: HTC Diamond Ringtones/alerts

I would like to be notified of a missed call with an alarm that continuously beeps until I dismiss it myself. The flashing light just doesn't cut it for me. Will this alarms solve that problem?

If not - anyone know where else i can find this?
