CDMA Touch Dual

I looked around and haven't seen mention of this http://www.bell.ca/shopping/en_CA_AB.../67331.details
WTF? with the diamond and pro coming out, what is the point?
Other than the kb, is there a difference?

the gsm version of the touch dual came out a while ago, before too many of us knew about the diamond and raphael so its not like its a new model, the confusing thing is why would Bell bother and not just skip to the Diamond and Pro like Sprint is doing. and other than the physical keyboard i don't think there is a difference

That was why i was confused. I couldn't find any stats on the phone, so I assume that it is the same cpu as the touch, but it seems like Bell is taking 1/2 step forward compared to Telus and the US carriers.

it looks like the touch dual is comparable to the CDMA touch in terms of specs and has more ram and processor speed than the GSM touch. i found spec sheets from HTC:

and yeah, I think Bell is moving in the wrong direction, if they do get the Dual I hope it's short lived for their sake because as soon as the Diamond and Pro launch the Dual (and all other predecessors) will be history

I wonder if those are the stats or not, it seems odd for the phoneto be manufactured,butmaybe it will have some sort of different guts. More RAM maybe? The link is still to the GSM version.

Sorry, I thought Bell was GSM. I can't find anything on the CDMA version of it. but if it follows in line with the original touch than the CDMA version will have more ram and maybe a faster processor. i don't know, maybe youll just have to go in there and pull up the specs on the device itself. but hey, i saw that Telus already has the diamond listed so who cares about the dual?
