Re: Forced Roaming
I don't need it but others might. Can you report back here what your results were with this and how well it worked for you? TIA.

Re: Forced Roaming
....bump
So is there still no word on this yet? I finally activated my TP2 once the official update came out and I am so relieved to have forced roaming back. Although the phone is way slower than my moment, I'd rather not be missing phone calls because I have one or less bars in my office. I would seriously pay $50 for this option if someone could whip it up! |

Re: Forced Roaming
QPST is working for the moment - I'm able to access the same System menu - but I haven't been able to get it to roam yet... but I'm right under a Sprint tower, so maybe that's part of it...
edit to add: instead of using ##3324#, the moment uses ##UPST# to allow you to toggle to modem (although I think that starting up in USB debugging may give you the same thing) Last edited by chibucks; 04-07-2010 at 11:49 PM. |

Re: Forced Roaming
I found this on another forum. A guy is trying to push forward by getting votes. Give em a hand.

Re: Forced Roaming
That's a problem with our phones. Its not actually roaming its using 1x for texting and phone calls and stays there locked. What I am talking about is straight roaming to another closer tower when needed.
