Re: Rubber Duck?

It's funny, but most of the "apps" i've seen for Iphone are crap like this. They serve no functional purpose and aren't really entertainment either. They're just showing off the accelerometer or touch screen or whatever.

Re: Rubber Duck?

Psiphi I am still looking for a wav file of the squeek. Thanks for the help. Just when you're ready to give up there it is.

Re: Rubber Duck?

I hate to admit, but I would love several 'simple iphone' apps like this for the TP.. There is the 'I need more cowbell' app, where you press a button an hear Christopher Walken say the famous line, then as you shake the phone you hear an accelerometer activated cowbell.. Or the comedy button, where when you press it you hear crowd laughter or a trombone razz (waa waaaaaaaa)..

The iphoners certainly have us in the easy/fun department..

Edit: Yay! http://www.freewarepocketpc.net/ppc-...mobile-fx.html

Re: Rubber Duck?

Okay, I'll work on this either this weekend or next... I'll keep it simple, probably just letting folks replace the wav file and picture with whatever they want... Stay tuned....

Re: Rubber Duck?

Thanks psiph. This will be the most awesome and annoying thing in the world. I think my ringtone should be the duck squeak for awhile.

You can change the sound now by just replacing the "duckie.wav" with another wav file and giving it the same name...

I had some unforseen issues this weekend delaying the source post, but I will post the code later this week, probably in the "Applications" section as that is where Development stuff should happen...

With the source (and a copy of VS.NET), you will be able to change out the picture too...
