6.5 Removing Voicemail Notification

Has anyone had a problem removing the voicemail notification in 6.5? I go to Phone Settings and then the Services tab but voicemail isn't listed.

The only notification my wife's has is the center palm button flashes. Once read it quits flashing. Is this what you want to disable? If so I don't think there is any way to disable this feature both in 6.5 and 6.1.

My problem is that when I get a voicemail, check it and delete the message, sometimes that voicemail notification doesn't go away. On 6.1 there's a place in the settings to clear the voicemail notification, but on 6.5 I can't find this option anywhere in the settings.

Ah yes I know what you are talking about now and both my Touch Vogue and Touch Diamond running 6.5 do not have the option either but they clear off just fine after checked. The only problem I've run into was if you reset the phone shortly after checking vmail it gets hung up. So when I check vmails I just let it be, after just a few min it is cleared. I think it is more on the side of the network rather than the phone??

I have th same problem............? anyone out there
