This is sweet news:

So the Treo 750 with WM5 is coming to Vodaphone and Cingular pretty soon (next month).

On Palm's website, it clearly shows their new Threaded "chat style" SMS application for WM5:

I then asked Andrew at Treonauts.com, who was just at Palm's headquarters to check out the 750 if we would be getting this "dedicated messaging application..." and his response was this:

Malatesta - Palm confirmed this morning to me that the Treo 700w|wx will indeed soon have the upgraded 'threaded SMS' application - just no timing yet for this release...

So "soon" but "no timing". So either we'l hack it out of the 750 or wait till Palm officially gives it...either way, though, it's coming!

I know what you mean, it took mine about 10 days from original order date to get here but I DO have it now... Just be patient
