iphone 3gs is 3 times fater? maybe because they upgraded to the pre's cpu and powervr sgx graphics's processor?

I don't care if the product I prefer is "inferior" or not. I get tired of the comparison discussions. The attitude that gets irritating is the guys that always want to "win" that discussion. I don't want to be on either side.

I do hate Apple though.

Yeah good point. I for one am all for competition, because then every company pushes the envelope and the people that benefit most in the end are the consumers.

I have an I Phone and have Omnia....Pre just not that speciel and they should do their own music Apple will just update their own soft and block pre..They dont care about Pre because phones appeal to different users.

Before this DOES become an iphone vs x thread, I must say the iphone 3gs with the 3.0 software isn't bad at all, and definitely a step in the right direction.

Some of the things I initially p***** on the iphone for, the 3gs w/ 3.0 now has, like copy and paste, video recording, and voice control.

The fact remains though, I've had these features now since I bought the Touch Pro, which means the money was well spent on the most practical thing at the time.

To be honest, next year when my Sprint contract runs out, I'll seriously consider whatever Apple's cooking for the next iPhone. They hired all those graphic chips people, so I think they've got something good brewing.
