HTC confirmed that there is a 3G United States version.

In the past, all the carriers have had their own iteration of practically every HTC device, so I don't know why this would be exception.

I'm with Sprint so I'm worried they will try and pull some crap like requiring an Everything Plan but am 100% sure they will have this device in the near future.
100% sure?
Seriously?

Re: LEO Confirmed

I would like to think that Sprint would get this... However, I doubt it... After speaking with a fewer higher ups about this... there doesn't seem to be anythng in the pipeline about it.

I hope I'm wrong but I feel that I will be changing carriers when this comes over here.

You realize 3G is not an exclusive GSM term, correct? EvDO is the 3G for CDMA.

Re: LEO Confirmed

He also said something about how the rep hasn't updated/synced her phone in a while - meaning the address book could very well be/is most likely from a different phone...

Re: LEO Confirmed

Yeah the address book doesn't mean much unfortuately
WHEN this phone is first released with US 3G, it'll be in the GSM flavor. Give it another few months after and MAYBE they'll have a CDMA version (and sprint may or may not get it still), but that time is quite far away.. I'm just gonna get a Hero in the meantime to tide me along, no sense holding out for an HD2 for that long when it's such a long shot.

One thing is for sure though, when the HD2 is out, I'm switching immediately to whichever carrier gets it and pay full price on day 1.
