Basic color changing with NSFFAN's rom

Ive tried using LilRico's cabs to change the colors of highligted items, etc, but the only one that sort of worked was the slider color, but it only changed the color when you scroll through the icons, not the color of the tabs on the bottom.

Is there anything I can do to get these to work? Thanks for any help.

I have the HTC Touch Diamond, is there anyone who can walk me through step by step on how to increase the call volume because I can hardly hear anything! Thanks so much.
